Watch Google Home and Amazon Echo caught in an infinite loop

Be sure to turn down your volume or else your Amazon Echo or Google Home device will react in the same way.

What’s the point of having two voice-enabled smart assistants like Google Home and Amazon Echo? The video above should be all the answer you need.

YouTuber Adam Jakowenko puts an Amazon Echo and Google Home side-by-side and starts the madness by asking Amazon Echo what’s on his calendar that particular night. Adam does some trickery by adding “OK Google” into his Alexa calendar so when Alexa repeats what’s on the calendar, Google Home is activated by the trigger words.

As you can imagine, the cycle continues on an infinite loop. Sure, the video is only 50 seconds, but hopefully, we can get David to upload a 10-hour version sometime in the near future.
