DEA partners with Manga artist Fujiwara Kamui on PlayMining’s official land NFTS

Digital Entertainment Asset is ready for the next evolution of its popular PlayMining GameFi metaverse with the coming launch of its first Land NFTs that will bring unique benefits to players. 

PlayMining is one of the most popular play-to-earn gaming ecosystems, home to titles like the card trading game JobTribes and Lucky Farmer.

Connecting all of those games is DEA’s NFT marketplace, where the first Land NFTs will go on sale for an unspecified amount of DEP, the platform’s native cryptocurrency token. 

The PlayMining Metaverse is incredibly popular, with more than 2.3 million registered players and over 40,000 monthly active users.

The majority of those players are based in Asian nations such as Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Indonesia, and participate to win NFT rewards in the game that can provide in-game benefits and can alternatively be exchanged for cryptocurrencies, helping them to earn a real living from the game. 

It is envisioned that PlayMining will ultimately consist of multiple Creator Nations, and each one will produce its own Land NFTs designed by well-known artists from the Manga and anime industries. 

DEA said the sale of the Land NFTs represents a key milestone for the PlayMining Metaverse that will go some way towards its vision of sharing the benefits of creators and protecting their rights within the game.  

“We are convinced that the Metaverse project is unique and unparalleled in its focus on the creativity of creators, coming from Japan, one of the world’s leading creator-producing countries,” the company said. 

Those who buy the first set of Land NFTs will gain citizenship to the Fujiwara Kamui Creator Nation, one of the top factions within the game that’s centered on the concept of “Genesis of Earth”, a world where gods and goddesses live in harmony with humans and everyone strives to make it a better place.

The Land NFTs are said to be the creation of Manga legend Fujiwara Kamui, best known for illustrating the iconic Boukyaku no Rakuen anime series.
