Just days after the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s render leak, we have our first look at the vanilla Galaxy S25.

Once again, the Android Headlines and OnLeaks duo has collaborated and delivered the first look at the base variant of the upcoming Galaxy S25 series, and needless to say, we don’t see any surprising changes.

Galaxy S25 renders show no noticeable differences except for the camera rings

The renders show a familiar design that is very similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy S24. However, the cameras on the rear are getting rings, just like we saw them on the Galaxy S25 Ultra renders.

In addition, the bezels seem thinner than before, and the sides will stay flat for another year.

The outlet has also shared the dimensions of the unreleased Galaxy S25, and they seem to have shrunk a bit. The alleged dimensions are 146.9 x 70.4 x 7.2mm, slightly smaller than the Galaxy S24’s 147 x 70.6 x 7.6mm dimensions.

The good news is that despite the reduction in dimensions, the display will stay the same at 6.17 inches, which Samsung will likely market as 6.2 inches.

The report also mentions a RAM boost. Apparently, when the Galaxy S25 launches, it will have 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The RAM boost is likely to accommodate Galaxy AI, and the battery stays the same at 4,000mAh.

There’s still no clear mention of the rest of the specs. The next Samsung flagship handsets are expected to sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. However, there’s the possibility that Samsung’s in-house Exynos chip may also sneak in. But we have no definitive answer yet.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S25 series in January 2025. So, we have a long way to go and will definitely find more answers along the way.

The Galaxy S25 series is expected to launch in January, but the company has yet to announce a launch date. We’ll learn about that and other details as the launch date approaches.
