MightyText: The best way to send texts from your laptop

Hate the feeling of having to type on a small screen? Rather type texts right from your laptop? I found the solution and it’s amazing!

Texting

I don’t know about you, but I think texting on a smartphone is a pain in the ass.

When I’m at the office, I constantly see that annoying blinking light on my phone, telling me I have to stop whatever I’m doing, just to get back to my friend’s (usually) pointless text about whatever drama went down last night. I don’t have to read or get back to your message, but that blinking light notifying me of some sort of alert tells me that I do!

It’s like an addiction.

I’ve often wished there was an application I could use on my laptop that would obliterate that horrible, blinking light and the need to autocorrect into a little window at a fraction of my normal speed.

I found the solution, and it’s called MightyText.

MightyText allows you to text from any device. Send and receive SMS and MMS from your computer or tablet. The messages stay in sync with your phone’s SMS inbox. In other words, your computer or tablet will have all the functionality of your phone, without the hassle.

Here’s an example of how it looks:

You can even dial numbers from your tablet or laptop. Another bonus is the battery indicator which allows you to see how much charge you have left.

It’s really easy to get this set up:

***MightyText is only available for Android at this time***

I’ve used MightyText for about a few months now, and I must say, it’s probably one of my most-used applications. It’s seamless. You can waste a lot of time just picking your phone up and putting it down when responding to messages.

I’d definitely recommend giving it a try. The best part? It’s FREE! What do you have to lose?
