It also has sensors and a navigational system. Some drones can easily be launched by hand since they are smaller and very lightweight, while others, such as spy planes, are bigger and can only take off with the guidance of transmitters.
As mentioned above, drones are widely used due to their rise in popularity and the various tasks they can handle. Military or governmental organizations use drones in less accessible areas such as war zones. Anyone can pilot drones these days. You don’t specifically have to own a company or be a part of the military to operate them.
Most people nowadays use drones for aerial photography, land survey for real estate purposes, and food or medicine delivery. Also, theater companies use drones to decorate stages. Other ways in which drones can be used include:

- Thermal sensor drones are used in search and rescue operations.
- Building safety inspections
- Geographical mapping of inaccessible terrain and locations
