And don’t worry, you don’t need sign your name in blood or give up your first born. It will essentially take two minutes out of your day to nab some free storage space.
Here’s how to claim your 2GB of storage:
Head on over to Google and proceed with the very short brief security update. Essentially Google just wants to verify your back email address is correct, renewing account permissions and all that jazz. For sparing the 2-3 minutes of your time, you’ll be rewarded with 2GB of extra storage on Drive. Seriously, it’s easy and free. Do it.
Google ran a promotion like this sometime last year, and they’re doing it again this year to mark Safer Internet Day 2016, or something like that. Either way, free cloud space is free cloud space. I don’t care what they call this day, and honestly, you shouldn’t either.
