If you’re one of those people who likes to sit in an Uber in dead silence while you get chauffeured around, then you’re probably not going to like the idea of a driver who entertains his passengers with an in-car opera performance.
Meet Jeff Sullivan, he recently posted a video to YouTube showing off an Uber driver that sang like an angel on his commute to a bar in South Boston.
Sullivan spoke to the Huffington Post and explained how it all went down:
“He was playing [opera] on his radio and I told him how much I appreciated it. He mentioned that he was a student, but I’m not sure if he meant it in the literal sense or that he just enjoys music. I then told him that ‘the floor is yours’ and he started [singing]… at first I thought he was kidding, then he started to impress more and more, so I pulled out my camera … no one would believe me when I told them I was just in an Uber with Pavoratti’s muse.”
Sullivan hopes this video brings some more attention to his Uber driver’s incredible voice. Who knows, he may even get a lucky break from all this, if it hasn’t already happened.
