It’s 2015 and Google has finally made its “undo send” feature a permanent fixture in Gmail. Although this sounds like a new feature and all, it isn’t. Google has experimented this in their Labs section for numerous years now, and now, they’re making it an indefinite option.

To enable this feature, head on over to “Settings” by clicking the gear icon, which is located on the right-upper corner. Click to enable “Undo Send” and set your desired delay time by 5-30 seconds.

I can’t begin tell you how clutch this feature is. There’s been many times where I have sent people email’s with the wrong first names, typos, or even the wrong email address’ for that matter. Clicking that little box was one of the best things I could do for myself. Enable this feature now and you can thank me later.
