If you’ve been scrolling through your iPhone’s Photos app lately and noticed some images looking like they were shot through a bloody lens, congrats—you’ve encountered Apple’s latest quirky bug. And surprise, surprise, it’s got beef specifically with Android photos.

Photos that originated on Android devices and made their way to your iPhone are randomly getting slapped with what users are calling a “horrifying red filter.”

The weird part? Your thumbnails look totally normal. It’s only when you tap to open the full image that suddenly everything looks like a crime scene from Dexter.

Reddit’s been lighting up with reports of this glitch, and the pattern is clear—it’s exclusively targeting photos that started life on the green robot side of the fence.

The good news: fixing it is stupidly simple. Just open the affected photo, tap “Edit,” then immediately tap “Revert.” Boom, your photo’s back to normal. No blood sacrifice required.

While this bug is more “goofy” than genuinely problematic, you’ll definitely want to check your pics before sending them to anyone.

Nothing says “check out my vacation photos” quite like accidentally sharing images that look like they were filtered through a horror movie color grade.

Apple hasn’t officially commented on the issue yet, but given how widespread the reports are getting, a fix is probably incoming.
