If you’re an 80’s child like me, then you’ll probably appreciate this Spotify enabled cassette player. If you don’t know what a tape deck is, you’re probably not going to find this very interesting.

When I first saw this video, I was baffled as to how he made this possible.

Here’s how he did it:

British Developer, Matt Brailsford gutted the cassette player and installed a very small computer called Raspberry Pi. From there, he tagged the different cassette tapes with NFC tags  the same technology that allows you to pay for stuff using your smartphone.

The project took Brailsford about 3 weeks to complete.
