If you’ve been on the fence about Sling TV, the streaming service just made it easier to test drive their service without a long-term commitment.

Effective immediately, Sling is replacing their Day, Weekend, and Week pass options with more flexible 1-Day, 3-Day, and 7-Day passes.

What’s Changed?

The new naming convention gives you more control over when you start streaming:

  • 1-Day Pass (was Day Pass)
  • 3-Day Pass (was Weekend Pass)
  • 7-Day Pass (was Week Pass)

Pricing stays the same, so you get the same affordable access at the same cost ($4.99 a day). The key difference is flexibility—you now get to choose exactly which day you want to start your pass.

Why This Matters

Sling’s pass options are perfect for:

  • Catching up on live sports events without subscribing for a full month
  • Testing the service before committing to a monthly subscription
  • Temporary access when you only need to watch specific shows or events

Whether you want to watch a 24-hour window of ESPN and sports, grab a weekend of entertainment, or test drive a full week of streaming, Sling’s passes give you the flexibility to do it on your schedule.

The Bottom Line

Sling continues to be one of the most affordable streaming options out there, especially with their pass system. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to check out what Sling offers, now’s a good time to grab a pass and see what all the fuss is about.
