Every year Amazon releases its “Best of Prime” report highlighting the myriad of ways that Prime members used their benefits over the last year. Gotta do something with all the data the company collect on us, right? This year Amazon came to Australia, bringing the total number of countries with Prime to 17.

Back in the US, Amazon broke down the most popular things to binge watch on Prime Video – Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, and Homecoming starring Julia Roberts; and the most awarded show in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which took home 8 Emmy Awards earlier this year.

Justin Trousersnake Timberlake was the most streamed artist on Prime Music, and Black Panther took the honors as the most enjoyed comic-to-movie adaptation on Prime Reading.

Whole Foods and Prime Delivery

Shoppers at Whole Foods Market were quick to jump on the savings benefit after Amazon bought the grocery chain, with organic strawberries flying off the aisles on the Prime Day deals. Prime members in Boston, San Francisco, and Austin really took advantage of same-day delivery through Prime Now, using it more than the other 60 or so cities countrywide that offer the service.

It’s often said that nothing is more American than apple pie, and Prime members bought enough organic apples throughout the year to bake more than 350,000 apple pies. Worldwide, Prime members ordered a staggering number of products with one-day delivery or faster – over 2 billion of them.

The Fire TV Stick and Echo Dot did extremely well

Product-wise, Prime subscribers went all-in on Alexa and video streamers. The single best-selling product of 2018 among Prime members in the US was the $40 Fire TV Stick, closely followed by the Echo Dot. You can pick up the 3rd-gen Echo Dot for $30, or the slightly older 2nd-gen one for $25.

We’ve cherry-picked some of the other best-selling products from the press release that Prime members picked up in 2018:
