Get Drizzed With Drizly – Alcohol Delivery Service
Drizly is trying to become the “Amazon for alcohol in Boston” with their nifty little app that delivers alcohol right to your doorstep in just 20-40 mins.
Just a heads up, if you buy something through our links, we may get a small share of the sale. It’s one of the ways we keep the lights on here. Click here for more.
A local company out of Boston, Drizly, is trying to become the “Amazon for alcohol in Boston” with their nifty little app that delivers alcohol right to your doorstep in just 20-40 mins.
Here’s how it works:
You login as a new user providing email, password, credit card info, and date of birth. With a few swipes and taps on your phone, booze gets delivered to your front door in 20-40 mins. The delivery drivers check your ID with their Drizly technology, and if everything checks out, you’re on your way to alcoholism. Not really, but, you know.
How cool is that?!
Imagine, all the tech-savvy alcoholics never having to leave the homestead. Now I’m not trying to pick on the alcoholics, because we’ve all had our fair share of drinks, not all though, but some.
This is probably one of the coolest apps I’ve seen that actually serves the end-user. Apps like Google Maps, Uber, Spotify, and now Drizly. Praise the gods!
Coolest part about it, is that they’re a local company out of Boston (my hometown). Now these guys are not only dominating Boston, but their taking over NYC and other cities across the US.
Full disclosure: I haven’t used or tried the app, but plan on doing a full review on Saturday. Stay tuned!
