Here’s all the original stuff coming to Netflix in August 2019

If you love binge-watching stuff on Netflix, August is going to be a great month. Avoid the heat by hiding inside with the AC blasting and watch all the Netflix Originals that are coming, all 55 of them! I guess you don’t need to watch all 55, I mean you do have to sleep eventually but maybe just pick a few of the future classics.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power comes back for Season 3, so you can give your kids some positive role models to watch. Then there’s the Dark Crystal prequel series, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance but you’ll have to wait until the 30th for that to land.

Martial arts fans might get a kick out of Wu Assassins, a Netflix Original movie with the usual trope of “why’d that guy get ancient power?” If cartoons are more of your thing, ’90s kids will love ruining their childhoods with Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling. Maybe. I mean, it might be good?

There’s a bunch of non-Netflix content coming as well, like all five Rocky movies coming back on the 1st. Oh, and go watch the Final Destination series before it’s yanked on the 1st of the month.
