While generalizations are never a good thing, we would be lying to ourselves if we said that many gamers didn’t spend a majority of their times indoors – I mean, that’s where the technology is, so it’s only natural. That being said, even gamers like to take vacations, but don’t really have options for continuing the gaming experience while bouncing from hotel to hotel. Alienware is changing that.

In a unique melding of gaming and lifestyle, Alienware and the Hilton have teamed up to give gamers a vacation hotspot. I never knew this was something I actually needed, but now I feel like I must make my gaming pilgrimage to Mecca the Hilton Panama. (hmu Alienware)

Room 2425 is where it’s going down, with the room being completely remade to store a plethora of gaming-inspired design, and of course, gaming systems and peripherals to sink into. Just think, you get all the benefits of a vacation, without the need to socialize, it truly is a win-win. The view is pretty decent too, offering a great overlook of the pristine Panama beaches, so you’ve also got that going for you.

In the room, you’ll find a 65-inch 4K OLED TV, an Alienware PC (with a 1080Ti), Alienware gaming laptop, Xbox Elite controllers, an Oculus Rift, and integrated racing chair. The room is decked out in sleek design and interactive lighting, as well as co-op bedding. Ok, it’s just two king size beds, but co-op bedding seemed theme appropriate, fight me.

Andres Korngold, Director of Business Development for Hilton Panama and Waldorf Astoria Panama, told Homecrux;

Ensuring an innovative and differentiating service has been our commitment since our opening in Panama and this initiative shows how important it is for us to contribute to improving more and more the options of stay in Panama, directly impacting on the tourist offer offered by the country for locals and foreigners.

Pricing for the room looks to be $349 a night, but you will not be wasting money on trinkets and tourist traps, so it is totally justified. Right? Right.
