Today is the first Tuesday of the new month, which means free games for all PS Plus members. PS Plus members can now download up to six free games across Sony’s Vita, PS3, and PS4 systems.
PS4 owners will be happy this month to see Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain along with the Halloween-esque Amnesia Collection. Technically, members are getting five games as the Amnesia Collection includes the two crap-in-your-pants scary games Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs.
This isn’t to discount Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain, however, as it’s legendary series creator Hideo Kojima’s final Metal Gear Solid game. The final games come from Vita’s Hue and Sky Force Anniversary, and they are both playable on the PS4 via backwards compatibility.
PS3 owners won’t be upset either as they get a total of 3 free games. Hustle Kings and the junk-food couch game Monster Jam Battlegrounds. Cross buy allows Sky Force Anniversary to be playable on the PS3 as well. As well, you can claim the free bonus game, That’s You, until October 24th. There is also the free PSVR game, RIGS, available until November 7th.
More additional content is available for PS Plus members as they will gain closed-beta access to the Smite spin-off, Hand of the Gods. Until November 14th, they will get a free Plus Pack that contains 5 core packs, player icon, card back, and a Galatic Invader Leader skin for Ah Puch.
