Spending too much time on your selfies? Here’s one simple tip to avoid blurry iPhone selfies every time

It seems like everywhere you look these days you can find someone shooting a selfie of themselves. Whether you love them or hate them, unfortunately there here to stay. But one thing that drives me crazy is selfies that look like they were captured on a phone that was released 10 years ago. Sure, we’re not all professional photographers, but man, can you not take a selfie that’s riddled with blur?

If you’re lucky enough to own an iPhone, there’s a simple solution that you can do to take the perfect selfie. All you need is your Apple headphones.

Apple headphones

For those of you unfamiliar, the volume button on the iPhone functions as a shutter button, meaning if you don’t want to tap your screen to capture a photo, you can simply tap the volume button and a photo is captured. But what most people don’t know is that you can plug in your Apple headphones and achieve the same effect by tapping the volume button on the headphones.

When you think about it, anytime you hold your phone out in front of you and tap the screen on your phone, the phone ends up moving, thus causing a blur effect. When using the headphones, you can take a perfect shot without moving the phone itself.

If you don’t believe us, try it out for yourself and see how you’ll be surprised by the results.
