The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is hardly a mystery anymore. Samsung has already shown off its sleek design at two major events, and various leaks have provided a clear picture of what to expect from this upcoming slim and lightweight phone.

While the exact launch date hasn’t been officially confirmed, a recent leak may have given us the best clue yet.

Famous leaker Evan Blass shared what appears to be an official Samsung poster. It uses the slogan “Beyond slim,” which fits well with previous rumors saying the phone will be only 5.8mm thick (not counting the camera bump).

The poster also shows a launch date: May 13, 2025, written in Italian as “13 maggio 2025.”

Given Blass’s strong history of accurate leaks, many believe this date is legit. Earlier reports from Korea suggested that May 13 would only be the South Korean launch date, with other countries seeing it a week later.

But this new leak hints that the phone might launch worldwide on the same day, which would bring it to more markets sooner than expected.

As for what’s inside the Galaxy S25 Edge, earlier leaks suggest it will have the same powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip found in other S25 models.

Even with its thin frame, it’s expected to feature a large 6.7-inch AMOLED screen. Unlike most flagship phones, it might only have two rear cameras instead of three, likely skipping the zoom lens, but it will include a high-quality 200MP main camera.

However, to keep the phone so thin, Samsung may reduce the battery size, possibly making it even smaller than the one in the regular Galaxy S25.

All signs point to a stylish, ultra-thin phone aimed at competing directly with Apple’s rumored iPhone 17 Air. If this leak holds true, we won’t have to wait much longer to see the full reveal.
