Samsung’s thirst to avoid lawsuits is all too real, so now they’re offering Note 7 users $100 to stay in the Samsung family.

You’ve heard it by now – the Samsung Note 7 is dead, kaput, and finished. Even the replacements that were sent out to customers aren’t deemed safe. So it’s pretty much safe to say if you’re still holding on to one, return it immediately.

Starting Oct. 13 at 3pm EDT, Samsung says that Note 7 owners can:

  • Exchange your current Galaxy Note 7 for any Samsung smartphone and replacement of any Galaxy Note 7 specific accessories with a refund of the price difference between devices
  • Obtain a refund at your point of purchase

So how does Samsung expect to win customers back after this shit show? Cold hard cash, that’s now. Here’s how Samsung is covering their tracks:

As a sign of our appreciation for your patience and loyalty, we are offering up to a $100 bill credit from select carrier or retail outlets if you exchange your Galaxy Note 7 for another Samsung smartphone, less any incentive credits already received.

Put simply, Samsung will throw you a $100 credit if you buy another Samsung phone.

Listen, if you’re still rocking a Galaxy Note 7, power that sucker down immediately and return it asap. You can also call Samsung at 1-844-365-6197 for direct assistance.

Seriously, don’t be a dummy. Return it.

Update: US officials are banning Galaxy Note 7’s from US flights.
