Eagle-eyed sleuths have uncovered regulatory filings that revealed not just one, but two versions of Asus’s upcoming handheld console.

Newly surfaced photos show both a standard white ROG Ally 2 and a black model that sports a dedicated Xbox button—a detail that’s whipped up a storm of excitement and speculation among gamers.

This button, engraved with the classic Xbox logo, is positioned in the top-left corner, signaling a deeper collaboration between Microsoft and Asus than ever before.

A couple of months back, the two companies announced they were teaming up for an “Xbox-flavored” handheld under the secretive Project Kennan codename.

Now, with these leaks, the secret’s out—and the device looks as enticing as fans had hoped. The design is unmistakably modern, with smooth lines and a build that feels both futuristic and practical.

But it’s that Xbox button that’s generating the most buzz. For many, it’s a direct invitation to jump into Microsoft’s gaming universe, hinting at possible deeper Xbox integration or even a distinct operating system for the black model.
