A while back I purchased one of the newest Samsung smart TV’s to hit the market, and instantly I fell in love with it. It was big, bright, and so crisp that it transformed the way I watched TV and movies. However, after a year or so with it, I found out that it wasn’t so smart.
This thing freezes, takes over 10 minutes to update (every week too), and sometimes just does things that I never commanded. Apparently, smart TVs just aren’t smart enough.
When it came time to purchase another TV for the bedroom, I opted for a TV that came pre-installed with Roku, which is one of the leading media boxes on the market. After a month or so with this new TV, I was sold. Roku’s rule compared to the shitty “smart” software found most TVs.
