Apple is reportedly getting ready to launch its next-generation mixed reality headset, the Vision Pro 2, and more leaks are giving us hints about what to expect.

One of the latest leaks comes from a reliable Apple tipster named Kosutami, who shared images of a new charging cable said to be part of the updated Vision Pro system.

While a charging cable might not sound like a big deal, this one adds to growing speculation about the headset’s design and improvements.

Just a day earlier, another source claimed the Vision Pro 2 will use titanium in its construction.

Titanium is lighter than the aluminum used in the current model, suggesting that the new headset may be more comfortable to wear.

That same leak also said the new version would feature dark blue graphite components, a change from the original’s silver-gray appearance.

Now, the new cable in the leak matches this description. It has a dark graphite color and a black woven outer layer, which adds durability and style.

One end of the cable connects to the headset’s external battery pack, featuring a round metal connector with pins inside and a small white dot on the outside to indicate orientation.

The other end looks like a wider version of Apple’s familiar Lightning connector, but with eight pins, fewer than the 12 pins on the original Vision Pro cable. This could mean a new design or a change in how power is delivered.

Though Apple hasn’t officially confirmed any details yet, it’s widely expected that the Vision Pro 2 will be announced in June at Apple’s annual WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference), the same event where the original model was unveiled.

Unfortunately, these leaks don’t reveal any hardware configuration or upgrades that we could expect with the Apple Vision Pro 2. However, we expect more details to surface online in the coming days.
