Google is gearing up to unveil the Google Pixel 8 series on October 4th, and presumably, the company will also launch the Pixel Buds Pro in two new colorways on the very same day.
So, we have exactly a month left for Google’s upcoming event, and now, a recently leaked report reveals the colors and prices of Google’s upcoming smartphone range.
Google Pixel 8 series price leak
According to TheTechOutlook, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will see a significant price hike, at least in Europe. The news outlet and leaker Paras Guglani have reported that the Pixel 8 price starts at €710.77, around $765 for the vanilla variant with 128GB storage.
If we include the 23% Value Added Tax or VAT, the price becomes €874.25 ($942). The same goes for the 256GB variant. The price, including the 23% VAT, is €949.30 ($1,023). The Google Pixel 7 was introduced last year at €650.

While the Google Pixel 8 Pro is rumored to be priced at €1,235 ($1,331) for the 128GB storage, €1,309 ($1,411) for the 256GB, and €1,461 ($1,575) for the 512GB model. All these prices are including 23% VAT.
Considering last year’s Pixel 7 Pro started at €900, this is a significant price hike.
An early rumor indicated a price hike for the Pixel 8 series, so a $50 to $100 increase was expected. But the leak indicates it’s going to be a significantly greater price jump. Of course, the US prices could still be lower.
That said, this leak is a bit questionable. So, take it with a grain of salt.
Google Pixel 8 series colors
The leak has also revealed possible colorways for Google’s upcoming smartphones.
According to the news outlet, the standard Pixel 8 will be available in four colorways: Hazel, Obsidian, Rose, and Mint. At the same time, the Pixel 8 Pro is also expected to appear in four colorways: Bay, Obsidian, Porcelain, and Mint.
