If there’s one thing to hate about iOS 10, it’s having to press the home button to unlock it using your fingerprint. Previously with iOS 9 you could simply place your finger over the fingerprint scanner and an instant later you were in.
Sure, it doesn’t seem like a big deal, but once you notice it, it’s a huge buzzkill because it literally stops you in your tracks from whatever it was you were doing.
Well, there’s a way to get it back, here’s how:
Head on over to Settings > General > Accessibility > Home Button. Make sure that the Rest Finger to Open is switched on. Once your settings have been changed, you’ll be able to unlock your iPhone by simply resting your finger on your home button.
