Microsoft’s Project X-Ray transforms your living room into a game with HoloLens

Thanks to Microsoft’s HoloLens, Project X-Ray promises to be the future of video games.

The bar for video games has been set high thanks to Microsoft’s HoloLens, the company’s take on virtual reality. Today the company unveiled a new game it’s been working on at its hardware event in New York.

The game, Project X-Ray, transforms your house into a personalized game level in which you have to defend whatever room you’re in from a mixed-reality robot invasion.

Microsoft announced that the HoloLens Development Edition will be available for developers for $3,000 in Q1 of 2016.
