Monster Hunter: World hit the console world running earlier this year, having great success on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles. It did so well, in fact, that it quickly became publisher Capcom’s best selling game in its long history.
Sadly, us PC gamers knew early on that we wouldn’t be getting the game until later this year, but it wasn’t long before that release date was marred with issues and delays before we finally got an “autumn 2018” release date. Well, we finally have a more concrete date for PC gamers to enjoy the world of Monster Hunter.
Revealed in a trailer for the PC version of the game, Monster Hunter: World will release on PC August 9th, 2018. In the trailer, Capcom also notes “free updates and collaboration quests are planned following the game’s release.” It will be exciting to see exactly what that entails.
Capcom has also released some specs for what will be required to play the game, and it is surprisingly moderate for most, but will require a more hefty setup if you want to play above 30 fps.
