If you haven’t picked up a Kindle yet, now is definitely the time.

Just a heads up, if you buy something through our links, we may get a small share of the sale. It’s one of the ways we keep the lights on here. Click here for more.

If you’ve wanted an ebook reader, but still haven’t pulled the trigger, you should stop by Amazon today. They’re running a one-day sale on selected Kindle models, with a $30 discount. Summer is nearly here and the e-ink display on the Kindle range is the best thing for reading while working on your tan.

With the 6-inch reader being only $49.99, it’s hard to pass this by. This model is the entry-level one, but that doesn’t mean it’s not feature-packed. You get a 6-inch glare-free display, built-in Audible access, and a battery that goes for weeks.

If you want something glare-free and with a backlight, the Kindle Paperwhite is also on sale, for the low price of $89.99. The display is nearly double the resolution of the basic model and has the patented built-in backlight. You still get all the benefits the e-reader is known for, like a week-long battery life, and you get the option to add free cellular connectivity into the mix (although this is a $100 extra). Both options come in white or black.

The Kindle for Kids Bundle with the latest e-reader from Amazon and its fantastic 2-Year Worry-Free Guarantee is also on sale, at $89.99. For that price, you get the entry-level Kindle and a protective cover. The warranty covers accidental damage also, so you can breathe easy, and it has Kindle Freetime built in to set goals and track reading progress.

All three of these models are great, just remember that time’s limited. Grab one today before the discount disappears.
