In the latest edition of Mark Gurman’s Power On Newsletter, the famed journalist revealed more information about Apple’s upcoming iPad Pro for 2024.

Apple’s 2024 iPad Pro is up for multiple upgrades, including an OLED panel and M3 chipset. The company is even redesigning its Magic Keyboard with aluminum.

Of course, Apple’s goal is to make the iPad Pro more like a laptop, as referenced in Gurman’s previous newsletter

According to the journalist, the newly redesigned Magic Keyboard case will feature a larger trackpad than the current one, making it easier to move the cursor on the iPad.

The new aluminum base of the keyboard case will provide a more premium feel when users rest their palms, and make the case sturdier overall. However, the redesigned keyboard case will feature the same exterior as the current one.

Due to the size increase and the addition of the aluminum material, there will be a weight difference. But according to Gurman, it will be negligible.

However, it is unclear if Apple will increase the price of this accessory to account for the new premium materials. Knowing Apple, we could see a price bump, so we are holding our breath.

At the moment, Apple Magic keyboard costs $299 for the 11-inch iPad Pro and $349 for the 12.9-inch variant.
