IMG and Turner’s eLeague will be bringing Rocket League to TVs near you with The eLeague Cup: Rocket League. TBS will introduce the top 8 teams to compete for a prize pool of $150,000. The top 8 teams will be based on RLCS performances. The RLCS World Cup is this weekend from November 10 through November 12.
The tournament will be in a 3v3 style and will begin on December 1 and extends through December 15. The tournament will be available for live audiences to watch December 2-3 at the eLeague Arena in Atlanta, GA. You can also watch the action on Twitch or Youtube.
With Rocket League eSports expanding and appealing to a much larger audience, it isn’t a surprise eLeague jumped in on the action. PRL, Gfinity, ESL, and more already hold tournaments that bring in a large number of players along with viewership.
