Samsung’s new Galaxy Buds3 FE are their latest shot at the mid-range earbud market, packing flagship-style features at a friendlier price.

They sport a new “Blade” design—basically Samsung’s take on AirPods stems, but with a matte, dual-tone look and a bit of see-through flair.

They come in Black or Gray, and with an IP54 rating, they’ll handle dust and a bit of rain—fine for workouts or a walk in the drizzle.

Sound and smarts are the focus here. The Buds3 FE use bigger drivers for punchier bass and clearer highs, and the noise-canceling tech gets an upgrade for better blocking out your commute or a noisy café.

Voice calls should be clearer too, thanks to new mics and some machine learning magic that filters out background noise.

The big party trick: Galaxy AI. With a compatible Galaxy phone, you get real-time translation and voice commands (just say “Hey Google”), plus the buds can automatically switch between Samsung devices without fuss.

Battery life is solid—up to 6 hours with ANC on (8.5 off), and up to 30 hours with the case, which actually beats some pricier Samsung buds.

Controls are all about pinching or swiping the stem, and pairing is super easy if you’re already in the Galaxy ecosystem.

They land September 4 for $149.99 in the U.S. and a few other markets—no pre-orders, so you’ll have to grab them when you see them. If it helps, Samsung will remind you when they’re out too, sign up here to get the alert when they drop.

Bottom line: If you want Galaxy perks, solid ANC, and a bit of AI, but don’t want to pay Pro prices, the Buds3 FE are probably your best bet.

Do Samsung’s Galaxy Buds3 FE offer enough premium features at $150 to compete with Apple’s AirPods and other mid-range earbuds? Is real-time translation through earbuds a genuinely useful feature, or just a flashy AI gimmick that most people won’t actually use?
