It’s our first look at the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE.

Just a heads up, if you buy something through our links, we may get a small share of the sale. It’s one of the ways we keep the lights on here. Click here for more.
Samsung’s Galaxy FE series has been one of the most sought-after premium mid-range Android smartphones. However, the last Galaxy FE series device was the Galaxy S21 FE, launched back in 2020.
After that, it has been complete silence from Samsung, so much so that we assumed that the S21 FE was our last sighting of the FE series from the company.
However, recent rumors suggest that the Korean tech giant is getting ready to launch another Galaxy FE series smartphone — the Galaxy S23 FE.
Most recently, we got an official confirmation of the device’s launch from a Samsung executive, who said during an interview with the Android Authority that an announcement was “imminent.”
More details revealed in new Galaxy S23 FE listing
In the meantime, while we were waiting for the announcement, the Galaxy S23 FE has appeared in a new listing.
The sudden appearance of this new listing seems to corroborate the Samsung executive’s statement. It hints that Samsung is getting ready to finalize the registration of the phone.
The listing was discovered by 9to5Google on the Wireless Power Consortium website. The Wireless Power Consortium is a wireless charging device database, and the listing has revealed the name of the device and its model number — SM-S711U.

However, the new listing doesn’t provide any groundbreaking information except for two bits. Firstly, the listing provides a real-world image of the device.
Until now we have been working only with renders. This is our first real look at the handset. The listing also provides the charging speed of the Galaxy S23 FE, and the number is pretty disappointing.
According to the listing, the Galaxy S23 FE will only receive a 4.4W maximum power rating. So, not exactly the fastest of the bunch.
If you are waiting for the S23 FE’s arrival, it’s best to stick to the wired charging. Stay tuned for more details on this phone as they come out.
