Just a heads up, if you buy something through our links, we may get a small share of the sale. It’s one of the ways we keep the lights on here. Click here for more.

Last year I spent almost $1,300 on a brand new iPhone X. Yea, you can go ahead and say it: I’m a sucker. Seriously, just thinking about that makes me feel dirty, but that’s how it is these days. If you want a premium smartphone, you’re going to have to pay a premium price.

Well, Apple, the company responsible for charging you an arm and a leg for a new iPhone, hears your woes and they’re bringing back the iPhone SE in an extremely out of character fire clearance sale.

For a limited time or until supplies run out, Apple is selling unlocked 32GB iPhone SE’s for just $249 a piece. You can get them in either gold, space gray, silver and rose gold at that price point. If you need a little more extra storage space, they’re also offering up 128GB versions in the same color options for just $299. If you were to ask me, the 128GB is the way to go. I mean, it’s only $50 extra.

Update: Welp, that was fast. Apple’s website is now showing both models out of stock. Hope you got one at this price.

Now keep in mind, these aren’t refurbished models. These are brand new devices right out of the box. And they’re officially being sold through Apple’s clearance section on its site. This also means you’re eligible for Apple Care on the device which could come in clutch, especially for an older device like the SE.

The iPhone SE was originally launched back in March 2016. It was launched to be as a budget device for those that couldn’t (or wouldn’t) pay for a regular iPhone at the time. The funny thing was that a lot of people gobbled these up and it became the preferred iPhone of choice for some users. It rocked an incredible battery life, it came with a headphone jack, and it wasn’t overly big.

No lie, I know a handful of people that still own this phone, and you couldn’t pay them to part ways it. I mean, that says something. If people are still happy with this phone, then why spend over a thousand dollars on something that essentially does the same thing for $250?

Well, if you’re in the market for a new iPhone and want to see why – smash that buy button. Worst comes to worst, all you’re losing out on is $250, which isn’t terrible considering you’re buying a new iPhone out of the box.
