Netflix just dropped a new trailer for its upcoming choose-your-adventure Black Mirror movie

I used to love choose-your-own-adventure books, and always wanted to see more of that come into other forms of media. Now, Netflix is working on a very similar concept with an upcoming Black Mirror movie, Bandersnatch, that releases this Friday, December 28.
While I’m trying to avoid spoilers, as some things seemed to have leaked already, the basic premise revolves around a programmer in the mid-1980s that is working on creating a video game based on his favorite fantasy novel.

Or should we say event, as you can dictate the things that happen in Bandersnatch, which is very un-movie-like.
Being Black Mirror, of course, things in Bandersnatch quickly go awry for the main characters, and the trailer even has fun with the choice elements featured by discussing the ability to change parts of your present, future, and past. Which is exactly what you can do in the cinematic experience that you control with your remote.
