Today, Corsair announced their newest case in the SPEC- Carbide Series, the SPEC-OMEGA RGB. This is an updated version of the SPEC-OMEGA, adding RGB accents in place of the static color lighting on the previous model.
The new RGB implementation comes from a custom 30-LED RGB lighting strip in the case’s front panel. It also includes two of Corsair’s well-reviewed HD120 RGB LED fans, and an included Lighting Node PRO digital RGB lighting controller. All of this is then controllable through the company’s iCUE software package.
The SPEC-OMEGA RGB is available in white and black colorways and has tempered glass panels on both the front and side so you can display your hardware. It has an edgy, asymmetrical design with a newly designed removable PSU shroud. Cable management should be well-served, with cable tie-downs, routing holes and grommets throughout.
It can also accommodate a 360mm AIO or radiator for custom watercooling on the front panel. ATX, mATX and m-ITX motherboard configurations are supported. Storage options are two 3.5″ HDD mount points and 3 2.5″ mount points on the back of the motherboard tray.
It’s available now from Corsair and the usual outlets for $149.99.
