Dark Souls Remastered is storming its way to the Nintendo Switch, and people are lining up at PAX East this year to gladly die in a variety of cruel and gruesome ways. Thanks to footage springing up online of people playing the Remastered version, we’re getting a better idea of what to expect.
Basically, it’s Dark Souls. On the Switch. The game will be at 30 frames per second as opposed to the 60 on other platforms. There will also be an exclusive Wii Amiibo launched alongside.
Dark Souls Remastered will also include quite a few quality of life enhancements that players across all platforms will be able to enjoy.
Multiplayer will consist of six opponents instead of the four found previously. There will also be tweaks to the password system to allow for easier play with friends. Healing in the Remastered version will be tweaked as well, allowing for Estus flask refills from red phantom kills. Single player will be getting some changes, as well, with the most notable being that players can now use multiples of the same item at once, instead of one at a time.
Dark Souls Remastered launches on May 25th.
