Dr. Mario World, the latest mobile Nintendo offering, was supposed to drop tomorrow, July 10, but instead has graced us with its presence a day early.
You can download the title now for both Android and iOS.
Dr. Mario World is a puzzle game based on the 1990 Game Boy title
It has been ported and released on multiple other consoles, but this mobile version takes a lot of what made the original fun and adapted it to the free-to-play mobile landscape.
Dr. Mario World contains five worlds at launch and you can spend real money to refresh your stamina to play more or use the real-money currency to buy more pills to complete a level. I’ve only spent a little time with the title, but it will be interesting to see what kind of wait times players will have to endure if they do not plan on spending real money.
One interesting feature that adds a bit of depth to the title is the ability to choose different doctors. Different doctors have different special abilities, allowing players to play to their strengths and in unique ways.
So, yeah, anyways, Dr. Mario World is available now, so if puzzle games are your thing, go on and give it a whirl.
