Samsung has been setting the stage for its Apple Vision Pro competitor for the past few months.
The Korean tech giant has now finally showcased “Project Moohan,” its Android XR headset with multimodal AI and extended reality, at the ongoing MWC(Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona.
Although saying “Finally’ is a bit of a cliche, as we had a glimpse before at the Galaxy S25 launch in January.
Samsung said, “Project Moohan” offers a glimpse into the future of AI-powered extended reality.
By integrating multimodal AI with advanced XR capabilities, this ground-breaking device marks a significant step toward more context-aware and personalized experiences that enhance everyday life in incredibly immersive ways.
While we got another look at “Project Moohan,” key details are still missing

Samsung announced “Project Moohan,” which translates to “Infinity” in Korean, was first introduced to developers in mid-December.
At that time, the general consensus was that the device would be available to consumers in 2025. While the MWC reveal is a step closer to that, Samsung has yet to share any pricing and availability details.
As for other details, the device is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 and packs an external battery.
Users can also connect larger battery packs via USB-C port.
A few Samsung partners were given early access to the device for developing apps before the public announcement, while more developers received it in late December.
Apart from this, Samsung also showcased a couple of funky foldable concepts at the MWC 2025, including a folding gaming handheld.
Additionally, Samsung showcased the anticipated Galaxy S25 Edge, the competitor to Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Air, with a thinner profile and a new camera design. Rumored to be launched around April.
