GTA Online’s next huge update will include an underground bunker

Despite Red Dead Redemption 2‘s release date slowly creeping onto our calendars, Rockstar Games is still hard at work to keep GTA Online fresh. According to the developer, the next update will be absolutely incredible.

Rockstar Games revealed that the next major update in GTA Online would go live sometime in June. The update will put a heavy focus on gunrunning in the San Andreas’ area. “Southern San Andreas’ illegal weapons trafficking industry rises to the surface in Gunrunning,” the developer said back in March. “[A] massive new update coming this June to GTA Online.”

Currently, the developer has kept a tight lid on the new features and additions coming in the next update. However, it was confirmed that there would be a new property type you can obtain, including an underground bunker.

Here’s a description on the underground bunkers:

“Dotted throughout Blaine County are hatches – look into these mysterious properties on the Maze Bank Foreclosure site and you’ll find sprawling underground headquarters for sale, ready to be stocked with new military grade vehicles and weapons manufacturing equipment capable of developing highly sought after offensive and defensive technologies.

As the residents of Los Santos know, the only thing more fun than crime is profit and should you choose to invest in this new business, some extremely shady customers are ready to pay top dollar for what you can deliver.”

In addition to new land and gameplay features, the developer has confirmed that new vehicles will be added. Including an all-terrain APC and a new Tampa.

GTA Online is out now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
