Polaroid’s latest Moto Mod puts a printer on your phone
Bring those perfect moments to life.
Motorola announced today their newest Moto Mod: the Polaroid Insta-Share Printer. It’s $200 and can print custom 2 x 3 pictures with different effects. You can also print directly from Instagram, Facebook, or Google Photos. It has a physical “shutter” sound, for realism. It will be available worldwide on November 17.
The price point for the Moto Mod is curious as other competitors have products at around the $100 range. Moto Mods have never been known to be cheap, but $200 for an attachment that makes your phone bulky and difficult to handle doesn’t seem like a smart move.
There are better choices out there, like the Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 for $70.
