We might soon see Netflix and YouTube on the Nintendo Switch
BestBuy may have leaked future Switch functionality.

Funny story, just earlier this week I was complaining about the Switch not having Netflix support, and what I will assume is thanks to listening devices embedded in all of my technology, Nintendo has heard my cry and we might soon see apps such as Netflix and YouTube on the Nintendo Switch.
Spotted by DevCakes on Reddit, BestBuy may have leaked something that many of us have desired in the product description for the Nintendo Switch on the BestBuy website. The info has since been removed, but it showed that the Switch was “smart-enabled” and showed three examples of such. Those examples? Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu.

While Hulu has been on the console since November 2017, it is only available in the US and Japan, and quite frankly, Netflix and YouTube have much more appeal to many of us.
The listing did not show any release dates, so it is still a complete guess to if, and when, this new implementation could happen, but fingers crossed.
Hopefully, this is a sign to come, and Nintendo is working on more services that work with their console.
