Amazon Prime Day brings with it Nintendo Switch gift cards and Joy-Con discounts
Lemme hold a $50 for a pair of Joy-Cons.
If you’ve been holding off on getting a Nintendo Switch or an extra pair of Joy-Con controllers, it’s time to come off that cash as Amazon Prime Day 2019 is officially underway.
While there will certainly be plenty of things you want to spend your money on, gaming can be the gift that keeps on giving, so it is definitely worth your consideration. While Nintendo is releasing a new, smaller Nintendo Switch, if you’re looking for the OG you can currently get the Nintendo Switch for $299, but it comes with a $35 Nintendo eShop digital gift card.
You can then turn around and use that gift card for the excellent Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Let’s Go, Eevee! which is on sale for $29.
While you’re at it, snag a second set of Joy-Cons this Prime Day
If you’ve ever spoken with me about a Nintendo Switch, you know I’ve had… issues with my Joy-Cons. Well, if you are worried about stick drift or bad connections or just want a second set so you can kick your little brother’s ass in some Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, now is the time, as Joy-Cons are also on sale for Prime Day.
You can currently snag a pair for $59, which is a lot more reasonable than the ludicrous $79.99 Nintendo usually charges.
Remember, to benefit from these sales you must be an Amazon Prime member. You can currently try Prime for a week for only $1.99.
Just a heads up, if you buy something through our links, we may get a small share of the sale. Click here for more.
