In case you haven’t played either game, Hotline Miami is a top-down, twin-stick shooter with incredibly tight, responsive controls, brutal action, one of the best game soundtracks ever assembled, and a heavy message about the nature of violent media. It’s an absolute classic and if this is your first time playing, I envy that experience.
What are you waiting for? Go get this one, don a mask that gives you special powers, and blaze through some pixel art bloodshed. Bring headphones, trust me.
Oh, and if you can’t get enough Devolver Digital action today, you might also like to know that Superhot, the first-person shooter where time only moves when you do, also dropped on Nintendo Switch today. You’re welcome.
