Tecno unveiled its first AI-powered smart glasses at MWC 2025 – the Tecno AI Glasses and Tecno AI Glasses Pro.
Both models feature an integrated AI assistant and offer advanced functionalities such as object recognition, information summarization, and tourist recommendations.
The Pro version improves the experience with AR-powered applications and real-time navigation.
The AI Glasses Series is designed with lightweight aluminum alloy and ultra-light composite materials, making them as comfortable as regular sunglasses.
They are available in two stylish designs: Eyebrow Frame and Aviator Style.
Both models incorporate a smartphone-grade OV50D sensor, Tecno’s proprietary ISP, and the advanced imaging algorithms from the Camon 40 Premier flagship smartphone, enabling high-resolution image capture.
They provide ultra-clear photography with exclusive ColorVisionary filters and SmartSnap, automatically recognize scenes, and generate captions for seamless content creation.
Equipped with Tecno AI, the smart glasses integrate the Ella AI Assistant, a virtual companion that assists with activity planning, notifications, and food recommendations.
Ella AI efficiently compiles information from multiple apps into concise reports, reducing the need for users to check their phones.
The AI-driven recognition system can analyze objects, locations, and restaurant ratings via image capture.
A real-time translation feature supports over 100 languages, facilitating cross-language communication. Users can also manage memos and schedules via a compatible Android app.
The AI Glasses Pro model stands out with a WaveGuide technology AR display developed in collaboration with Meta-Bounds.
Featuring a MicroLED screen with a 30-degree field of view and 1500 nits brightness, it delivers an immersive AR experience for real-time applications like navigation and meeting translation.
With Wi-Fi 16, Bluetooth 5.4, and an 11-hour battery life, Tecno’s AI Glasses Series sets a new benchmark in smart eyewear, merging AI and AR technology with a sleek, practical design.
Tecno says it will reveal further details regarding pricing and availability at its AI keynote in Barcelona.
