Starting now, you can ask Alexa to play your favorite playlist, album, or song from Spotify on Sonos.

That’s right, today, Sonos confirmed in an email to KnowTechie that you can now ask Alexa to play you songs from Spotify on your Sonos speakers with Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant.

For this to work, you’ll need to have Spotify as your default music player in the Alexa app. Going forward, you can ask it to play songs, artists, albums, and playlists.
Additionally, the company also announced two new direct control experiences allowing you to control both Pandora and Tidal from within their apps.
