In a new leak courtesy of MySmartPrice, the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5 flaunts a larger cover display, confirming earlier rumors. This leak comes just over a month before the official launch, adding to the anticipation.
The press render, similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 5, offers a clear look at the partially folded device. The large cover panel is prominently visible, displaying a photo and a music widget.
This latest leak follows a series of renders based on factory CAD files that surfaced a few days ago, providing a preliminary look at the Galaxy Z Flip 5. These earlier leaks hinted at a larger cover display for the flip phone, a feature now confirmed by the latest render.
Galaxy Z Flip 5 Leak showcases a new cover display and music widget
The render gives us a clear view of the upcoming foldable smartphone. The device is shown partially folded, with the large cover panel clearly visible, displaying a photo and a music widget.
Further details revealed in the image include the flip phone’s camera system and button configurations. A familiar dual camera module is positioned on the rear of the device, and the power and volume buttons are visible on the right side of the smartphone.
While the new leaked press render doesn’t provide any new information, there’s a possibility that the device may be slightly thinner. However, this is difficult to confirm from this particular image. Unfortunately, we don’t get a view of the inner folding display in this leak.
Nevertheless, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 leak is still informative, primarily highlighting the larger cover display and showcasing the music widget for the cover screen.
According to recent reports, Samsung is collaborating with Google to optimize various apps, including Google Messages, YouTube, and Google Maps, for the new cover display. Additionally, The leaked render hints at a new music widget for the cover screen, although its identity remains uncertain.
