Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming ASUS Zenfone 10.

ASUS Zenfone 10: Updated release date
ASUS usually updates the Zenfone lineup during the summer, as evident from their previous release dates. And 2023 is no different, as the company announced the Zenfone 10’s release date as June 29.
- ASUS Zenfone 6: May 16, 2019
- ASUS Zenfone 7: August 26, 2020
- ASUS Zenfone 8: May 13, 2021
- ASUS Zenfone 9: July 28, 2022
- ASUS Zenfone 10: June 29, 2023
The Zenfone 10 is rumored to feature a larger display than its predecessor. However, an exclusive article by PriceBaba claimed ASUS might have a different plan for this year’s Zenfone 10.
If the report is accurate (which it wasn’t), ASUS is aiming for a fourth-quarter debut, which means a release window between September and December.
ASUS Zenfone 10: Expected specs
Officially, ASUS hasn’t revealed any specs, but the PriceBaba report shed light on a few key specs of the Zenfone 10. Here’s what we know.
Larger Display
ASUS is reportedly leaving the smaller 5.9-inch footprint, seen on Zenfone 8 and 9, in favor of a bigger display. The aforementioned leak suggests the Zenfone 10 will receive a larger 6.3-inch AMOLED panel, similar to the Galaxy S23.
The new panel will likely receive a 120 Hz refresh rate; however, no news on the design of the smartphone yet.
Upgraded Chipset
Rumors suggest the Zenfone 10 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which isn’t surprising given that the Zenfone is a flagship smartphone range and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is currently Qualcomm’s top offering.
GSMArena reported a device speculated to be a Zenfone 10 model spotted on the Geekbench database. The device had a single-core score of 2,008 and a multi-core score of 5,454, running on pre-release software.
Rumors also suggest that the Zenfone 10 will come with 16GB RAM. Last year’s Zenfone 9 had an 8GB variant and topped at 16GB, which could also be the case this year.
Internal storage is also expected to get an upgrade, starting at 256GB and potentially going up to 512 GB.
Better Camera
The Zenfone 9 was criticized for its sub-per camera as a flagship contestant. However, ASUS will likely rectify that subject with the Zenfone 10.
Bigger Battery
Multiple rumors suggest that the Zenfone 10 will come with an upgraded 5,000 mAh battery, a significant improvement over last year’s model’s 4,300 mAh battery. The charging speed is also expected to increase from 30W to 67W.
ASUS Zenfone 10: Anticipated Pricing
As usual, ASUS is keeping quiet about the Zenfone 10’s price. Last year’s Zenfone 9 launched at $699 (€799), and prices went up to $799 (€899).
Given the inflation in European markets and increasing financial instability worldwide, ASUS is unlikely to lower the price for the Zenfone 10. With that in mind, we can probably expect a similar pricing strategy to last years.
