Epic released their Battle Pass breakdown as Season 2 of Battle Royale comes to a close, and Season 3 approaches. In the latest season, Battle Pass can unlock 76 items across 30 tiers, including new items like “back bling” and sky trails.
The Fortnite team broke down what Season 3 will bring us, and there are a lot of new things coming to Battle Royale. You can buy new outfits, gliders, banners, emotes, and more cosmetic items for 150 V-Bucks each, or you can unlock them by grinding away the old-fashioned way. You can complete all 30 tiers to unlock all the items, which Epic estimates to take around 75-150 hours.

V-Bucks are Epic’s in-game currency for Fortnite, and cosmetic items do not affect gameplay. Some of the new items coming to Fortnite Battle Royale are skydiving trails, back bling (backpacks), and loading screens.
If you don’t want to drop the dough and are up to the task, you can complete tiers faster by completing the new weekly challenges, which will replace Season 2’s challenges. Each week, seven new challenges will unlock, and they stack. An excellent method to take is picking up a Battle Pass approximately halfway through Season 3, so you will only have to complete half the challenges while unlocking the other half.
You can grab the Battle Pass for Season 3 for 950 V-Bucks (about $10), or catch the new Battle Bundle which gives you the Battle Pass for Season 3, and 2800 V-Bucks at a 40% discount.
Season 3 begins February 22!
