Fox News has announced a launch date and pricing information for its upcoming streaming news subscription service. Like similar services, you can subscribe to Fox Nation through monthly or yearly subscriptions. It’s the so-called “founding member” subscriptions that will probably turn a few heads, however.
The new Fox Nation launches on Tuesday, Nov. 27 for $6 per month or $65 per year. The other subscriptions bundle merchandise into the price and will include collectible coins, hats, glasses, medals, and watches. These range in price from $60 to $1,200 and will be available to purchase very soon online.
What will the service include?
At launch, Fox Nation will feature well-known Fox News personalities such as Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, and Brit Hume as well as original programming hosted by Jesse Watters, Tomi Lahren, Pete Hegseth, Britt McHenry, and Tyrus.
To promote the new service, Fox News is airing a one-hour special called “Fox Nation First Look” this Sunday, Oct. 28.
According to John Finley, senior vice president of Development & Production for Fox:
We are incredibly excited to bring our viewers exclusive access, content and experiences from our Fox News stars at an attainable price. In an on-demand era of viewers watching content wherever and whenever they want, Fox Nation will complement and enhance our powerhouse Fox News programming for the loyal superfans who want to remain connected to our signature platforms.
It’s going to be interesting to see what those “founding member” subscriptions entail. (Donald Trump toilet paper, anyone?) No doubt Fox Nation will serve a particular segment of the population. Stay tuned.
