Microsoft announced its free games for February and now Sony has released what titles it has available for gamers for free in the month of February. And let me tell you, Sony’s offerings are a lot more exciting than what Microsoft brought to the table for February.
Remember, to enjoy these games you’ll need an active PlayStation Plus membership. If your subscription lapses, you will be unable to access the games you’ve downloaded.
Free PlayStation Plus games for February
Probably the most exciting title this month, Hitman: The Complete First Season is available for the wonderful price of free this month. It’s a bit surprising to see this on here, but considering Hitman 2 released recently, this is a great way to get more hype for that game.

In addition to Hitman, February also sees For Honor entering the realm of free for the entirety of February. People were very divided when it came to this game, but at the price of free, you might as well try it out and see if it is for you.
More games coming in February
That’s not all gamers get for free in the month of February. Also included this month:
- Divekick, PS3 (Cross-Buy with PS Vita)
- Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, PS3
- Gunhouse, PS Vita (Cross-Buy with PS4)
- Rogue Aces, PS Vita (Cross-Buy with PS4)
The PlayStation 3 and Vita titles that are available in February will actually be available until March 5 due to this being the last month that the program will offer PlayStation 3 and Vita titles. The PS3 and Vita games you already have downloaded will remain playable for PlayStation Plus members.
Overall, it’s definitely a solid month and worth your time to check out what Sony has to offer for free.
