KnowTechie teams up with WeWork to feature Boston startups

KnowTechie and WeWork are teaming up to offer you all the latest news on the WeWork startup community in Boston.

WeWork

Being a Bostonian and all, I’ve been slacking at keeping up with all of the amazing startups coming out of Boston. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been covering Boston tech news since the launch of KnowTechie, but unfortunately not as often as I’d originally planned. In the early days of KT, I broke an exclusive story on Google. I’ve had a one-on-one interview with the CEO of FanCred. I’ve featured news from Uber, Postmates, Drizly, and countless others. Although featuring some of these bigger names is fun and all, I want to take it one step further. I want to feature startups that you may have never heard of before.

Which is why KnowTechie and WeWork have teamed up to give you an inside look at some of the amazing startups this vibrant community has to offer.

WeWork

If you’re not familiar with the company, WeWork is a network of co-shared working spaces across the country that offers everything a person or company may need to run their operation more smoothly. WeWork doesn’t only offer a space to work in, but they’re also “helping to create a world where people work to make a life, not just a living,” according to their website.

WeWork has set me up with a place to work out of for the next few months, and hopefully, judging from my positive experience thus far, I hope we can make it a long-term effort.

Moving forward, I’ll be featuring two startups a week out of the WeWork community. I’m really excited about this because I’m going to learn so much, while boosting the Boston startup scene at the same time. With that said, if you’re a Boston startup working out of a WeWork office, get in touch because I want to talk with you! You can get in touch through the contact page or you can shoot me an email directly at kevin@knowtechie.com.

Also, if you’re not part of the WeWork network and are interested in checking it out, WeWork has extended a special offer to any KnowTechie reader. Give them the coupon code of “KNOWTECHIE” and they’ll give you 30% off your first month. I would HIGHLY suggest coming down for at least a tour, just to see what the big fuss is about.

To book a tour (which I would highly recommend), visit the WeWork Boston page or shoot them an email to Boston@WeWork.com. Hey, who knows, you may even bump into me in the halls.
